Second Diocesan Convention

The primary graphic of the image is a stylized illustration of water with three shades of blue squiggles that are grouped together to look like a lake with gently waving water. On the left side of the image is the shield of the diocese which features a two-sailed ship cutting boldly through the waves in front of a sky with white fluffy clouds and three stars, one of which is larger than the other two. The right side of the image features stylized text in the two darkest shades of blue from the water graphic. In all caps, in the lighter of the two shades, it reads "WAY." Weaving and waving out of that word in a darker blue with wave-like letter flourishes, the text reads "Waters." Finally, the bottom of the graphic reads, "A WAY IN THE WATERS" and "CONVENTION 2 - OCTOBER 24-25, 2025." The overall effect of the graphic is of both calm and movement, forward motion and peace.

Registration

Delegations: $100/person

Parish delegates have been elected to serve for this year. One person from each congregation (usually a parish administrator, senior warden, or clergy person) must complete the registration form for their group, including all lay delegates and clergy. Additional visitors and attending children may be added to the group order form if desired. Please be prepared to provide accurate email addresses and dietary restrictions for each person. ($100/person.)

Individual Registrants: $75-$100/person

Unassigned Clergy ($100/person) and visitors ($75-100/person) may register individually, regardless of congregational affiliation.

Youth and Children Visitors: $15/person

Children Under 5: Free

Children may be registered individually or with a delegation to have meals provided and to request high chairs and/or booster seats (limited).

For all children who are potty trained and older, a children’s program will be provided in a safe room outside of the primary meeting space, staffed with Safe Church, Safe Communities-trained adults.

For youth who are middle school and up and are not youth delegates, our formation staff and volunteers are planning hybrid opportunities to help them engage in the movement and work of convention in age-accessible and appropriate ways, while still having play-fueled brain breaks, engaging with younger children.

The deadline to register and submit all payments is October 10.
