Safe Church, Safe Communities

The Diocese of the Great Lakes is committed to being a community where every person is valued, protected, and treated with dignity. Safe Church, Safe Communities is our shared ministry of care and accountability, grounded in our Baptismal Covenant to “respect the dignity of every human being.” Through training, policies, and practices, we seek to create spaces – both onsite and online – where all can know the love and safety of Christ.

Our Safe Church policy is included in our full diocesan policy and procedures manual.

Safe Church training can be completed at any time. The most up to date information about how to access SafeChurch training is always available in our Parish Resource Library (direct post embedded below).
